Agriculture
Agriculture releases a significant amount of C02, CH4 (methane) and N20 (nitrous Oxide) into the atmosphere, from the decay or burning of litter or soil .In 2005 agriculture produced 47% and 58% of human made emissions this is predicted by 2030 to increase to 35-60% due to the use of nitrogen fertilizer and other fertilizers. Emissions can be reduced by delivering nitrogen into more efficient crops that will reduce emissions. Also, emissions can be reduced by enhancing the removal of CO2 in the soil. The soil holds a huge amount of C02 and there are methods to store the C02 in the ground.
